A charging cable for the CUPRA Born, fitting every version sold in the UK, from the 2022 launch cars to the current V1, V2 and VZ. All of them charge through a Type 2 inlet and take a Type 2 to Type 2 cable. The 58 kWh and 77 kWh cars and the later 59 kWh e-Boost, 79 kWh and Born VZ all carry the same onboard charger and accept 11 kW on three phase and 7.4 kW on single phase, so battery size changes how long a charge takes and not how fast it runs. A UK home supply is single phase, so the car draws at most 7.4 kW at home, and the 32A single phase cable delivers that in full. Lengths are 5, 10, 15 and 20 metres, the 15 and 20 metre leads in 32A single phase only. Built to IEC 62196-2 and CE certified, IP55 sealed, rated from -30C to +50C, or +60C for the 3-pin.
