A charging cable for the BMW iX1, covering the xDrive30 sold from 2022 and the eDrive20 sold from November 2023, including the 65.2 kWh cars built from February 2026. All of them charge through a Type 2 inlet and take a Type 2 to Type 2 cable. Every version accepts 7.4 kW on single phase and 11 kW on three phase, or 22 kW on three phase where the optional charger was ordered, an option that cannot be identified from the outside of the car. A UK home supply is single phase, so the car draws at most 7.4 kW at home, and the 32A single phase cable delivers that in full. Lengths are 5, 10, 15 and 20 metres, the 15 and 20 metre leads in 32A single phase only. Built to IEC 62196-2 and CE certified, IP55 sealed, rated from -30C to +50C, or +60C for the 3-pin.
